Following the league

Last reviewed 12th October 2026

Fixtures, results, league tables, player rankings and clubs for the padel league on Padelist Team League are open to everyone. You don't need a login to follow a team, and nor does anyone in your family. This guide shows players, parents and supporters where to find things.

Finding fixtures

Open Fixtures from the Leagues menu or from the home page (the address is /fixtures). It starts with the matches still to come, a week at a time, under headings such as "w/c Monday 2nd November 2026". That means the week commencing that Monday.

Each fixture is one line:

  • the day and date, and the start time if the league has set one,
  • the division,
  • the home team, then the away team,
  • where it is played. This is usually the home team's club.

Some matches are at a neutral venue, for example a final round where a whole division plays at one club on one night. The line then says "(neutral venue)" after the venue's name, with any note the league has added, such as the start time for the evening.

Filtering to your team

Above the list you can choose:

  • Team: just that team's matches, home and away,
  • Division,
  • Club (home or away): every match a club's teams play, wherever they are,
  • Month,
  • Show: Upcoming, Results or All of the season.

Then choose Show fixtures. The address in your browser changes to match what you chose. You can bookmark it, or send it to someone and they will see the same list.

When a team is chosen, a line at the top says Showing: and the team's name, with links to change it or go back to all teams.

Remembering your team

With a team chosen, select Make this my team. Next time you open Fixtures on this phone or computer, it opens on your team. Your choice is kept in your own browser on this device. Nothing is sent to Padelist Team League. Choose Forget my team to undo it.

On the home page, Find your team in the Follow the league block goes straight to a team's fixtures. The same block shows this week's fixtures, the latest results and who is top of each division.

Results

On Fixtures, choose Results to see the matches already played, most recent first. The score in each line is the number of rubbers each side won. Select it, or Match report at the end of the line, to open the match.

The Results page (/results) has every match's full scorecard on one page, and lets you look back at earlier seasons. It has the same team, division, club and month choices as Fixtures. Select a match to open its scorecard there, or Match report beside it to go to the match's own page. A club's page links each of its recent results the same way.

The match page

Each match has a page of its own. At the top is the scoreboard: both teams, each linking to its team page, with the score between them and the winners marked, then the division, round, date, time and venue where they are known, and the points. Under that are both teams' captains, then each rubber with its players, its score and its sets, each shaded towards whoever won it. A small dot marks a tie-break that went beyond a normal finish, such as 12-10. Print gives a plain scorecard for the noticeboard.

Under the scorecard is a short Match report, written by the website from the result. Members who are signed in can also read the Straight-talking version, which is blunter and uses strong language; it isn't shown to anyone signed out, to juniors or to parents.

Box leagues and challenge ladders have match reports too. On Box leagues, open a box's results and choose Match report beside a result; on a ladder's page, Match report is beside each challenge in Recently played. If you play in a box league or on a ladder, you can have a report sent after each result: tick Box league reports or Ladder reports in your notification settings.

Adding fixtures to your calendar

You can have your team's fixtures in your phone's calendar. Choose your team on Fixtures, or open the team's own page, then open Add to my calendar.

This is a subscription, not a one-off copy. If the league moves a match, your calendar changes too. Calendar apps check for changes on their own timetable, usually every few hours, so a change can take a little while to appear.

  • iPhone or iPad: tap Subscribe on iPhone or Mac, then Subscribe and Add.
  • Android: tap Add to Google Calendar while signed in to your Google account, then Add. It then appears in the Google Calendar app on your phone.
  • Google Calendar on a computer: choose Other calendars, then +, then From URL, and paste the calendar address shown in the panel.
  • Outlook: choose Add calendar, then Subscribe from web, and paste the calendar address shown in the panel.

With no team chosen, the calendar has every fixture in the league.

Reading the league table

League tables (the League standings page, /rankings/teams) show one table per division:

Column Means
Pos Position in the division
Pl Matches played
W, D, L Won, drawn and lost
R Rubbers won
+/− Sets won minus sets lost
Pts League points
Form The most recent results
Next The next fixture

Teams level on points are separated by rubbers won, then by the +/− column, then by the results between them. Teams still level share a position, shown with "=". The rules page sets out how points are scored.

Player rankings

Rankings (/rankings/players) list every player by division, with the matches they have played, won and lost, any appearances as a substitute, and their points. Select a column heading to sort by it, a player's name to see their record, or their points to see the results that earned them. You can search by a player's name or club.

A player's page starts with their Form: their latest six results, newest first, each one a link to its match (hover over it for the score, the other team and the date). Once they have played two rubbers this season, a small line of their rating sits beside it and takes you to the full Rating trend. Under that, Recent results lists their matches; where a result moved their rating, the change is shown beside it, such as +12 or −8, and hovering over it shows the rating after that match. A result that didn't change the rating, such as a walkover, shows no figure.

Ratings

Ratings (/rankings/trends) shows how players' ratings are moving and how teams compare. Every rubber moves a rating: beat someone rated above you and you climb further, lose to someone below you and you drop more. The page has three tabs.

  • Overview. If you are signed in and your account is linked to your player record, Your rating shows your rating and how far it has moved since the season started, where you rank in your division, your wins and losses, your best night and, where there is one, where you would sit a division up. Otherwise it shows the league's top three. On the move lists the biggest risers and fallers for the latest week with results (Monday to Sunday), or for the last four weeks, each with a small line of their rating. Under that are the week's talking points: the upset of the week, the hottest winning streak and the team on form. Each one links to its match, player or team.
  • Players. A chart of each division's ratings across the season. Choose the division above the chart. The first point, Season start, is the rating each player brought into the season, carried over from last season or set by the league for a new player; after that there is a point for each match night. Hover over or tap a night to see every rating and how much it moved, and select it to open the match (if there were several matches that night, choose one from the list). It starts with the division's top five, and you if you are signed in; select a name to hide or show it, or use Add a player to compare anyone in the league. The numbers under the chart has the same figures as a table. Where everyone sits shows every player in each division as a dot, with the middle half of the division shaded and the rating a new player starts on marked. Streaks and upsets lists the longest winning run, the upset of the week, the biggest climb this season, the most three-setters and the team unbeaten at home.
  • Teams. Team strength against the table, which teams are punching above their weight, and each squad in rating order. The captain's guide explains these.

Before the first match night the page says so; it fills in as results come in. Padel rubbers played in pairs don't move a rating, so on this site ratings stay where the season started them: the page says so, and leaves out the chart and the risers and fallers.

A player's page also has a link, under their rating trend, to compare them with others on the Ratings page.

Finding a club

Clubs (/clubs) lists every club in the league, with its divisions and teams this season. Each club's team contacts are tucked away under View contacts, which shows how many teams it covers; select it to see them and Hide contacts to put them away again, or use Open all contacts and Close all at the top of the page. Select a club for its own page: where it is, its courts and club nights, and its teams. Each team's captain is named beside it, with any vice captain after them. Under Fixtures & results the club's next match comes first, then the ones after it and its recent results, each with the date, the two teams and the division. A coloured label says where the club's team plays it: Home in green, Away in red, or Neutral in yellow when the match is at neither team's club, such as a final round at another venue. Select a fixture to open its match page. Select a team for its squad, its fixtures and results, and the calendar subscription.

What an account is for

If you play in the league, an account lets you take part, not just follow. With one you can:

  • tell the other team you're ready for a match, as a team captain or vice captain,
  • enter a result,
  • message your captain or the people who run the league,
  • choose to get league news by email.

Parents and supporters can follow everything above without one. If you just want the news, you can sign up for the newsletter at the foot of any page.

Parents and guardians of juniors

Everything above works for you without an account. If you'd like more, ask your junior's club administrator to add you as their parent or guardian. You then get your junior's fixtures and results on one page, their match notifications (a result entered, or a fixture moved, postponed or cancelled) and a way to message their captain. The club administrator links your login to your junior, or sets one up and emails you an invitation ("You've been added as a parent or guardian for …").

You can follow several juniors at different clubs. Your junior doesn't need a login of their own, and nobody asks for their age or date of birth. Your name is never shown on a public page. Only your junior's captains and the club and league administrators see that you are their parent or guardian. You can stop at any time from My profile. Once you are linked, My profile links to a parent's guide with the details.

Getting an account

Accounts are set up by the league, usually through your club, so there is no sign-up form. If you play and would like one, ask your club administrator or your team captain. They can send you an invitation.

When your account is ready you will get an email from Padelist Team League with a subject such as "Activate your Padelist Team League account". It asks you to choose your own password, using a link in the email. To check that the email is genuine:

  • the link goes to padelistleague.com, the same address as this website,
  • the link works once, and stops working after a couple of weeks. If it has expired, ask for another,
  • it never asks you to send anyone your password. You choose it on the website, and nobody at Padelist Team League can see it.

If you weren't expecting the email, you can ignore it. The account can't be used until somebody chooses a password with that link.

Once your password is set, use Log in at the top of any page.

To sign in with a different email address later, use Your sign-in email on My profile. We send a link to the new address to check it is yours, and tell your current address. Nothing changes until you follow that link. If you ever get an email saying "Your email is being changed to …" that you didn't expect, nothing has happened yet: tell your club administrator.

Passkeys. If Padelist Team League has turned them on, a passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, your face or your phone's or computer's PIN instead of typing your password. The easiest way to add one is when you sign in: after you sign in with your password on a phone, tablet or computer that can keep a passkey, you are asked Sign in faster next time. You are asked on each phone, tablet or computer where you sign in with your password, even if you already have a passkey on another one: each device needs its own passkey unless your password manager syncs them (for example iCloud Keychain across your Apple devices, or Google Password Manager). Press Add a passkey now and follow your device's instructions; it says Done and takes you on to where you were going. Not now asks again on that device in 30 days, and Don't ask again stops asking on all your devices. You can also add one at any time: until you have one, My profile has a Set up a passkey button near the top, which opens Passkeys; give it a name you'll recognise (such as "iPhone") and press Add a passkey on this device. That page lists each passkey by name, which starts as the browser and device it was made on (such as "Chrome on Windows"), so you can see which devices have one. On an iPhone or iPad the passkey is saved to iCloud Keychain (in Settings, your name, then iCloud, Passwords and Keychain must be on); the authenticator apps that show 6-digit codes are not used for this. An Android phone saves it to Google Password Manager, Windows uses Windows Hello, and a Mac uses iCloud Keychain or Chrome. Password managers such as 1Password and Bitwarden can keep passkeys too. Next time, tap the email box on the sign-in page and choose the passkey suggestion, or press Sign in with a passkey. On a computer with no passkey of its own, press Sign in with a passkey and choose Use a phone or tablet to sign in with the passkey on your phone. A passkey works only on padelistleague.com, and only from the device or password manager that holds it. You can rename or remove one from the same page, and we email you whenever one is added or removed: if you didn't do it, change your password and remove it. Your password keeps working alongside it, and Forgotten your password? is still the way back in if you lose your phone. When the league's app offers passkeys, it uses the same ones: a passkey added on the website signs you in to the app, and one added in the app works on the website.
